Magic in Prachtsaal

Prachtsaal is a non-profit, artist-run cooperative based in the Körnerkiez district of Neukölln. Housed in a historic former dance studio, it is now home to 20 international visual artists working primarily in open-plan studios. We bring together a diverse group of practitioners working across painting, digital art, creative coding, writing, and podcasting, spanning approaches from conceptual art to pop.

Part of the space is dedicated to an 80 m² exhibition venue, where we host workshops, meet-ups, and exhibitions, many of them organised by our resident artists. Past collaborations include 48h Neukölln, Berlin New Media Week, Artists Stop Being Poor, as well as art markets and Creative Code Berlin meetups.

Our programme focuses on contemporary art, performance, and sound, with an emphasis on inclusive formats. We approach our work through curiosity, play, and collaboration.

Beyond their artistic practices, Prachtsaal members also offer services to the wider community, including graphic design, large-format fine art printing, creative coding, and installation fabrication.
